Healthy Obesity

Obesity is one of the most rampant disorders prevalent in
America. With over 80 million obese people, the weight loss
business is also mushrooming. Most people aspire to lose fat or
water retention in their body to look like a celebrity. But what
most people don’t realize is that for some the line between
health and healthy obesity isn't as drastic as you might
think. For many, their natural weight may well be
considered obese but their nutritional diet and activity levels
are actually quite natural and healthy. While this is the
minority of those classified as obese, its a clear distinction
from societal stereotypes and thoughts on healthy obesity.
People can be obese for several reasons. It can be a result of
hormonal disorders, diabetes, thyroid problems, certain
medication, or even heredity. Going on frantic diets or
developing eating disorders are common reactions of most people
to such obesity. What you must realize is the cause of your
obesity and it will require an overhaul of your lifestyle. The
way you eat and exercise will have to be corrected not just for
the period of a diet program but also for life.
If you feel that simply drastically cutting down your calorie
intake will make you lose weight and address the healthy obesity
perception, think again. When you sharply cut calories, your
body develops a defense mechanism under the assumption that you
are starving. Metabolism is reduced and you end storing every
calorie you consume. Fast weight loss pills are also not likely
to yield long term benefits and their side effects often do more
harm than good.
For those looking to balance healthy obesity but
are still determined to drop weight in a sensible fashion, a
long term health program that includes nutritional balance with
sensible exercise is the preferred route. Several
online diet
plans that address this market are worth
consideration, including the
Type 2 Diabetes Diet,
the Slim
Fast Diet,

Greene
Get With the Program Diet.
